Zoe-perry

Perry has the father of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as as seen through flashback) her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. Her parents, however, didn't want her to perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry confessed that she wasn't at ease in the stage during high school. She began performing as a means to make friends in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry began her career with New York after graduation, performing in minor parts in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry go back to California and pursue a career as a theater actress. Perry was a part of Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie with her in 2015. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, Perry starred in a role on ABC's political thriller Scandal with her father. She also played in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The part was offered to her through audition, regardless of the fact that she has a family tie to the role.
